You\u2019re not expected to know everything \u2014 and you\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First, a Reassurance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your computer isn\u2019t suddenly going to stop working. You don\u2019t need to rush. You have options, and you can take your time choosing the one that feels right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 1: Upgrade to Windows 11 (If Your Computer Is Ready)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Windows 10 computers can move to Windows 11 for free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How you\u2019ll know:<\/strong> Your computer will usually show a message saying it can upgrade. If you don\u2019t see that message, that\u2019s okay \u2014 it just means your computer may not support it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why this option is simple:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It keeps your computer protected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You don\u2019t need to buy anything<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The upgrade does most of the work for you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If your computer says it\u2019s ready, this is a safe and easy choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 2: Keep Windows 10 a Bit Longer With ESU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your computer can\u2019t upgrade, Microsoft offers something called <strong>Extended Security Updates (ESU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Think of ESU like adding a little extra time to your computer\u2019s safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why this might feel comfortable:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You don\u2019t have to learn anything new<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your computer stays protected<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can decide later what you want to do next<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a good \u201ctake it slow\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Option 3: Install Windows 11 on an Older Computer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some people install Windows 11 even if their computer isn\u2019t officially supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> This option is only recommended if you have someone who can help you.
